It is my solemn duty to write this review and share how amazing this steak and fries were. Took it to go and expected very little - but then I got home and plated it. I’m gobsmacked. I’m a solid home cook, especially when it comes to steak and this was cooked to perfection. Fries were also outstanding. This is a must eat.

This was my first time at Palette and I thought they did a wonderful job of creating a fun and happening restaurant in Madison. Loved the decor and interiors of the places. Nicely done. Food, service, and ambience was perfect. We were a big group and our server did a fantastic job of catering to us all. The appetizers were amazing and I loved the different sauces that accompanied it. Do try the Fries, Bavarian soft pretzels, and Cheese curds. For the main I ordered the grilled salmon and it was perfectly cooked and presented. Loved the presentation of each of the dishes. Special mention for the paint buckets shaped dish used to serve the fries. Finally the ice cream cake was the cherry on the top. It was the star of the night and the perfect way to end our Palette girls night. Check out this place for an artistic food experience! Highly recommend!

New restaurant, still working out some issues when it comes to delivering meals with all sides (room service). Best meal is the slow roasted chicken and French onion soup is good. Steaks were great cuts and cooked to order, however, could use some seasoning. Dessert menu is lacking and the chocolate cake was not freshly baked. That said, they had great customer service and service recovery.

We stopped here after a candlelight concert by Fever Productions. This was an ultimate cap of the date, the bartender suggested the steak wedge salad and the chicken parmesan. We asked if they could bring us both but split both plates. They did! It was incredibly delightful, the steak was done right and the chicken Parm on the creamy fettuccine was fantastic. We did cap it off with key lime pie deconstructed. Both of us took two bites and couldn't anymore. It was lovely and I will be back.

We stayed at the Indigo, and we visited The Palette for dinner and got room service from there for breakfast. For dinner I got the top sirloin with the over the rainbow salad and fries. The steak was cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY. The salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had! And the fries was so good and came with a cheese sauce to dip them in. My husband got the bison burger with fries and also said it was delicious. For breakfast I got the avocado toast and it was amazing. They do such a good job of incorporating unique and fun flavors to meals to make them pop even more. The restaurant itself was beautiful and cozy. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was quick and delicious.

Pork belly sandwich (handheld in their menu) and pork bao bun blew our mind.. very tasty food and portion size made us happy. (They served 4 buns). Servers was very nice and helpful. Designated Parking was in the next building (newly built parking) and there was no connector. So we had to walk to the restaurant from the parking. But the server was kind enough to validate the parking ticket.

We made a reservation for a Thursday evening. Not necessary as we were one of two tables between 5p-6p. The bar and dining areas had great atmospheres. Decorated to the theme of the building and hotel. We took a hike to the restrooms and came back to a great explanation of the cocktail menu. If you're looking for custom cocktails, I would highly recommend. Many were able to edited to NA also which our party appreciated. We ordered the fish tacos, roasted cauliflower, grilled salmon and the Thai chicken lettuce wraps. Overall, I wish the dishes had a bit more seasoning however, everything was very clean and you could tell the quality of the food items being used. Generous portions. I personally ordered the fish tacos. Large fried pieces of cod however I would have liked more slaw. Most intriguing was the cauliflower. Not overly seasoned but due to the perfect roast on it was still flavorful. The poblano cream was the show stopper though! Everyone was satisfied with their meals. We ordered one of the two desserts available and it was more than enough for the four of us to share. Service was great; from the hotel concierge, bar staff, wait staff, to the chef/owner/menu cultivator. We ordered dessert and lingered for a while as our show didn't begin until 7:30p. No rush to turn the table and we will happily be back! I'll remember to get parking verified for their ramp next time too. A great location for us to hit when headed downtown from the east side without having the full capacity locations off the square.

Last Sunday, my family and I attended the summer closing event at Palette , and we had an incredible afternoon. For $55, we enjoyed three truly amazing drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious with a great variety of flavors. The atmosphere on the terrace was very pleasant, making the experience even better. We think it would be fantastic if they held events like this more often! The service was excellent—thank you to the entire team for making our afternoon special. The food was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures! We’ll definitely be back.
